2lb Raisins 1lb Wheat 8 tea bags) 2lb Sugar 1 tablespoon Citric acid 1 gallon of water yeast and nutirent 1 campden tablet
Soak wheat overnight and put through a mincer or rough chop in a food processor. Put teabags in fermenting bucket and pour the gallon of boiling water over. let it mash until the water is lukewarm. Remove the bags and add the chopped raisins, wheat, sugar and citric acid. Stir well then add crushed campden tablet. Disolve 1 teaspoon of granulated yeast into the liquid and stir, add yeast nutirent as per instructions on tub, stir well. Leave in closely covered fermenting bucket for 21 days stirring once each day. shen strain into fermenting bottle (demi-john) top up to bottom of neck and fit an air-lock. Siphon into clean bottles when fermenting has ceased.
*make sure all equipment is clean by sterilising with campden tablet and citric acid sterilising fluid*
