Make your own gel air freshener

Make your own gel air freshener
450ml (16 fluid oz) distilled water
essential oil of choice
1 pk of gelatine*
food colouring (opt)

Heat half the water almost to boiling add gelatine and stir until dissolved
Remove from heat and the remaining water, 10-20 drops of oil and colouring if used

Pour the mixture into clean baby food jars/ cheap shot glasses/ candle voitives and leave to set overnight at room temperature.

What would be the strongest perfumed oil to use that would actually freshen a room whilst encased in gelatin then?

seriously though, it works like one of them glade things but without the chemically overpowering pong.
