If anyone says to me, foxes don’t kill just for the hell of it; they would change their minds now if they saw the carnage in the chicken run early this morning.
We have lost the ducks to the fox, in brood daylight.
The shit dug under the door, must have been while we were out early this morning.
The chickens were thankfully still in their sheds, and I think were keeping rather quiet.
So Mick and his gang may have just saved the chickens lives.
All heads were removed, apart from Mick, he had his back legs bitten off, we think by the looks of it he bled to death.
‘Animals only kill what the need to kill’ he killed and then went, he left the ducks where he killed them. In a very bloody mess on the ground. The only thing it ate was two heads.
The chickens wouldn’t come out, they haven’t laid today.
So we have lost the ducks. No more Mick or lurcher.
They were my pets by the way. Which makes it harder.
The experts say ‘foxes won’t kill home poultry in runs if there is plenty of other wildlife around. We have rabbits and pheasants all over the bloody place.
Foxes kill for the sake of killing, if they didn’t, Id still have ducks and there would only have been a few that had been taken away and eaten.
so anyone says to me any sort fox hunting is cruel, just remember even foxes chase their food and make them suffer when they catch it.
oh and the fox also doesnt eat what it killed.
so kinda saying that fox hunting is bad because they dont eat what they hunt. well neither does the fucking fox.
