Well, I've got my daughter and grandkiddies up for a visit and am busy saying things like, "Get off the borders you bleedin little horrors." ;D ;D I let em water the plants with the hose and the usual lets squirt everyone game started. ;D
I just wish I had half of their energy, then I can also get the runner beans sown. ;D
I've got some climbing french beans ready to go into the grobags and I've loads of sunflowers to pot up prior to planting out.
Lotsaluv from a really gay garden ;D

I've been busy travelling around the world and planting brassicas (and building scarecrows). Off again tomorrow to Oz. Wonder if it'll be easier to water the roots from down there...?

We've been busy gettting the living room and bathroom finished and decorated. Veg patch has got some spuds in it that I dug up by accident when we were digging out some of the docks - other than that we only have docs in there. Tomatoes that were doing ok in the kitchen have been moved to the living room as they were dying - they are still dying at the moment. Lettuce in the pot is looking good - cherry tomatoes are looking slightly healthier although we have lost 2 or 3 of them! Chives are none existent - think I kill everything I try to plant - the spuds are doing fairly well at the moment though but then I've just planted them and left them alone! Currently we are preping for NS's mate who is coming to visit tomorrow and I now have two part time jobs to attend as well! Being busy is good - although not when you have a distintive lack of sleep!

Since we moved into the new house, I've been trying to get my new composting bin (we left the old one in the old house as a pressie for the landlord as he loved it, he thought putting the grass cuttings in it was the best thing ever plus Salty was all "ugh, put that in the car and ugh, handle it? ugh" about the bin da big wimp! so he promised to buy me a new one) I got the herbs over, and they seem to like the new spot, its a small garden but catches what sun there is nicely. They are sheltered but I think I will have to cover them soon enough, a really cold snap seems to have started.
